Abukar Mukhtar Omar (PhD)

Abukar Mukhtar Omar is the Dean Graduate School, SIMAD University in Mogadishu, Somalia. Before He was Dean, Faculty of Education for seven years. He holds a BSc. in Education from the Islamic University in Uganda and a Master of Arts in Educational Policy and Planning from Makerere University, Uganda. He also has a PhD in Education Policy, Planning, and Management from Makerere University, Uganda. His research focuses on higher education, with a specialization in the quality of higher education and the quality of teaching and learning. He teaches undergraduate courses in education management and administration, as well as comparative education. At the postgraduate level, he teaches courses in Educational Planning, Quality Assurance in Education, Policy formulation, and Strategic Planning in Education.
